This is the Fufu Ninja Analysis of Killas[SiN] all the way from New Zealand.
Hey everyone,

Love this game, so fun and awesome as a break from DotA after a while.

Just been playing this recently and I have realised the full potential of this game...

I mean, all you really need to do is tweak a few things, add some game modes, insert a rematch function and slap-bam you have the next Warcraft Craze!

But, in saying that, there is always difficulty in doing such things, so I have compiled small list of the things I believe should seriously be in FUFU:

-Rematch function: Definitely important, because it's so annoying remaking and having people joining again... etc.

-Better Jump physics: I really like the Vampire and Warrior, but the Jump skill is too obsolete against people who can hide in trees forever and who have blink strike. Make it you can jump down from ledges! DEATH FROM ABOVE!!! FUFUFUFUFUFU... (Pun intended)

-Game modes: I love this game, but I believe the true potential lies in game modes. Team play, Capture the Flag, Domination, King of the Hill... So many Possibilities...

-Terrain and Arenas: I have noticed the arena is quite bland and empty, and the terrain is unimaginative...

Fufu Ninja inspired by other Warcraft maps

Tree Tag Ninja
The TreeTag Ninja was based on the ENT character in the Warcraft custom map called TreeTag. In that game, the ent could blink and relied on eating the trees to escape from the Infernals. We based the skills of the TreeTag Ninja off that and put our own spin to it to make the once scared ent to a viable Fufu Ninja warrior.

Vampire Ninja
For those who have played the Warcraft custom map called Vampirism, you may be familiar with the vampire skills of illusions and ward putting. We built on that concept and came up with the Fufu Ninja based on Vampires.

Infiltrator Ninja
It's undeniable that DotA has greatly influenced Warcraft gaming. Just like Fufu Ninja, it brought hordes of gamers back to the WC3 engine. Far removed from the boring melee/ladder maps, this Fufu Ninja is a salute to Gondar - the Fufu Ninja inside the DotA game. The Fufu Infilitrator Ninja is undeniably much more deadly than the older brother. If you enjoy stealth and quick kills, you would enjoy picking this hero.

Panda Warrior Ninja
Boom boom boom! Imagine big fat panda jumping high up in the sky and killing everything when he slams back in the ground. It is a firm tribute to the original Ninja Duels by ThredNThrash. Adding a bit of humor to the game, this panda ninja was inspired by the 12 Pandarens custom map and subsequently by DotA's Pandaren Battlemaster. The animated movie called Kung Fu Panda got the idea years later.

Fufu Ninja Analysis: SlugOnice Part 4 of 4

Lo and behold, the ninja of the masses.
The Ninja Warrior from Pandaria...
It is the most commonly used ninja for these reasons:
1) The panda is the first ninja character on the selection menu (top side)
2) It's user-friendly and it's real cute.
3) Windwalk, a jumping skill plus a blink... What more can you ask for?
But due to it's size, it's a bit harder to be stealthy when both Blink and Windwalk is under cooldown.
Juking can still be done but not as efficiently as the TreeTag Ninja.

The Infiltrator Ninja - it's one of the ancestors of DotA's Gondar. In fact, the first guild of bounty hunters in Azeroth were founded by the Infiltrators that survived the Fufu Ninja Wars. Effective Fufu Ninja Infiltrators utilize the windwalk to get right into the middle of the action to deliver it's AoE (area of effect) damage. Those who play Gondar -Bounty Hunter can be comfortable playing this ninja type.

Then the Tricky T Vampire Ninja is the one for you.
Fufu legend, Jas202 has been successful with this ninja type.
Wanna know why?
It has 3 skills that make you invulnerable for a couple of milliseconds...
1) The Valencia vertical (when flying up in the air)
2) The Iwaz skill

and of course, the illusion skill (when breaking into two)

A perfectly set trap gives you the chance to do triple kills without using the marvelous shuriken.
Read: This opens up instances for 5 straight kill streaks.

We at Fufu Ninja recently sat down with one of the prime movers of Fufu United history.
None other than Garena moderator, SlugOnIce.
This is the first of 4 parts.

From Slugonice:

Most players I've played with in the Fufu United Ninja tournaments use the Panda character thinking it's the most rigged Fufu Ninja. What they don't know is... Fufu Ninja is one of the most balanced games in Warcraft today. Yes, it's more balanced than DotA. But hey, balancing 93 heroes compared to 4 ninjas is a big disparity. The effectivty of a character greatly depends on the user and each and every ninja can be rigged if used by the right player.

According to the statistics in the Fufu United Ninja All-Stars tournaments, the TreeTag Ninja is the least used ninja.
Reason? People think it has the least offensive skill set and a low survivability rating. In fact, it is the stealthiest ninja. With that global blink, you could come out of nowhere for a kill, then blink out before anyone notices. But you do need that great sense of timing when to BLINK to be adept at this ninja.

Take advantage of the trees. Use the fog of war to your advantage.

One of the most popular questions we get when it comes to creating UMS (User Map Settings) games or mods is:
Will there be a Fufu Ninja for StarCraft II?

For those who are not familiar, Fufu Ninja (Fufu United Ninja All-Stars), is a popular UMS game created for Warcraft III.

StarCraft compared to Warcraft III, does not focus on heroes as much, and heroes or units do not have the same experience gaining mechanic as Warcraft III, making it difficult to imagine how a game like Fufu United Ninja All-Stars could be reproduced for StarCraft. Nonetheless, after talking about it with our developers, we found out the ability to allow heroes and units to gain experience is built into the Map Editor, though it will not likely be in single player or standard multiplayer.
